The Hand Project

We bring teams together to build real prosthetic hands for people who need them. Every workshop is a mix of teamwork, purpose, and global impact. Built by teams, given to individuals. Teambuilding that actually works.

Create and manage our socials across platforms. Collaborate with our African ambassadors on fitting camp content. Support campaigns, share impact stories, and join workshops with companies like Adyen or Allianz. You’ll gain creative freedom, storytelling experience, and direct input from the field. Outreach & Partnership Support: our referral campaigns and help grow our network. Reach out to companies, CSR teams, and already formed partnerships. Create pitch decks and track leads. ROS2 Developer – You will be responsible for connecting different parts of the system (sensors, motors, robotic arm, navigation system, cameras, AI models), and making our rover autonomous.

Mechatronics / Embedded Developer – writing low level programming for the microcontrollers and communication with sensors and actuators.

Mozo

Mozo is a digital ordering and payment platform for hospitality venues. It streamlines ordering, payments, and the guest experience through QR codes, self-order kiosks, and full POS integration.

Frontend Internship: Build beautiful, high-performing UIs for Mozo’s QR and kiosk flows and analytics dashboards. You’ll work with Vuejs and TypeScript, ship real features, run experiments to improve conversion, and learn design-to-code craft. Mentorship from senior devs. Amsterdam/remote, 4–6 months, minimum 3 days/week.

Backend Internship: Help scale Mozo’s ordering and payments platform. Build resilient APIs, POS/printer integrations, and event-driven services in Node.js/TypeScript with PostgreSQL. Tackle performance, reliability, and security. Ship to production, monitor with logs/metrics, and learn modern DevOps basics. Amsterdam/remote, 4–6 months, minimum 3 days/week.

Bijlex

At Bijlex, we create a new digital learning method for secondary schools to improve education. We redefine how students learn and absorb knowledge through modern functionalities, AI, and interactive tools that make learning more engaging and motivating.

For this app each component is custom-made. Therefore we have a many different projects, that each require a vastly different skillset!

Software Developer: In this role you will apply your programming on multiple projects. You will be involved from thinking out the component to creating the final result. Example projects: Interactive exercises, printing functionality, achievement systems, and more.

Social Media: For this role you will be in charge of creating video’s, media content and media posts. This function too intertwines with marketing and creative thinking related projects!

Marketing: This role requires vast knowledge of marketing in general. You will be involved in our marketing related projects, such as creating materials, marketing campaigns, research and more!

NextCrete

NextCrete develops sustainable sports chalk by transforming industrial waste streams such as magnesium byproducts, and captured CO₂ into high-quality chalk. By combining geochemistry, material science, and entrepreneurship, we plan on creating a circular solution that reduces mining while delivering a functional product for athletes.

PLEQ

Space Occupancy Data Platform for Universities.

Marketing Intern: Join PLEQ as a Marketing Intern and help shape our brand story. You’ll support campaigns, create content, and explore creative ways to reach universities and public institutions, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing proptech startup.

Sales Intern: As a Sales Intern at PLEQ, you’ll assist in lead generation, outreach, and client engagement. You’ll learn to build relationships with universities and organizations while supporting our sales pipeline, gaining practical experience in B2B SaaS sales within the proptech sector.

VU – Ambulatory Monitoring Solutions

VU-AMS B.V. offers physiological sensing and analytics solutions for behavioural and clinical science in natural settings (e.g. at work, during exercise, while sleeping). By facilitating world-class research, we enable scientists and medical specialists to discover novel ways to monitor and physical and mental health and prevent stress related disease.

Marketing and Branding Intern: Assist in executing marketing strategies for VU-AMS across academic, medical, and sports markets by creating content, managing campaigns, and analyzing engagement.

Business Development Intern: Conduct market analysis, identify new business opportunities, and assist in drafting proposals for partnerships and expansion into new sectors like sports and mental health.

Product Development Intern (Wearables): Collaborate with the engineering team to support hardware prototyping and testing of the VU-AMS ecosystem, including integration of new sensors and wireless technologies.

Software Development Intern: Work with the software team to enhance the VU-DAMS software package (java), and iOS app (swift) focusing on improving the user interface and implementing new features.

CREATE

Leverage AI technology to streamline regulatory market access for medical devices.

(Vibe) Code a medical device regulatory app based on the CREATE AI platform. Full-cycle web development from customer requirements to implementation, automated testing and customer acceptance. Based on JS/Next/React/Typescript/OpenAI. We could host up to 2-3 interns of this type.

Voice of the Customer: conduct structured interviews with (potential) customers of regulatory affairs AI solutions. These are professionals in the medical device industry. In the assignment, you develop a questionnaire, conduct the interviews and generate an actionable report.

Business Intelligence: create a dashboard of the usage of an online webapp based on log file analysis and other available metrics. Highlight top users, profitability per account, usage patterns of the application. Mostly done in e.g. Excel, but some light tooling AI-assisted coding (e.g. to extract information) will be required.

Capisoft

Full-Stack Development Traineeship: You’ll be trained in frontend and backend development, integrations, web scraping, and building small mobile apps. You’ll start with our in-house training guide, completing tasks and exercises, and once finished, you’ll move on to a real client project where you’ll continue learning on the job.

HBO Traineeship: You’ll build tools to analyze and optimize crawler performance, collecting metrics and creating visualizations. You’ll also run tests to identify the best proxies, frameworks, and settings for each platform, aiming to bypass bot detection and automatically determine optimal configurations.

Tekkers

Tekkers is a new sports-tech startup building the first all-in-one platform for pickup sports. Whether you’re a player looking to join a local game or a host wanting to organize one, our app makes it easy to find, create, manage, and join casual sports matches anytime, anywhere, across any sport.

We’re looking for a passionate Flutter Developer with strong Firebase experience to help us scale our cross-platform mobile app. You’ll work closely with a dynamic founding team that lives and breathes sports—and wants to revolutionize how people discover and join pickup games.

This project requires a developer with experience in configuring Firebase for both iOS and Android, as well as strong skills in building Flutter applications using Dart.

Platform-specific configuration files (google-services.json and GoogleService-Info.plist), and managing environment settings. Knowledge of platform channels, push notification setup (including APNs for iOS), and debugging build issues across platforms is essential to ensure seamless cross-platform functionality.

Heart Harmona

A digital self-management support (VR+app) for heart failure patients.

Business Development & Implementation Strategy Intern: Help shape Heart Harmona’s go-to-market strategy by interviewing innovation managers, insurers, and clinicians to map real adoption routes in Dutch healthcare. You’ll gain hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, health system strategy, and business development within a fast-growing digital health startup.

Medical Content & Education Intern: Research and curate evidence-based heart failure education content from trusted sources (ESC, WHO, Harteraad, etc.). Translate complex information into engaging, patient-friendly material for our VR and mobile platforms. Ideal for medical, biomedical, or health sciences students interested in patient education and digital health innovation.

Data Science / Machine Learning Intern: Help us design and prototype a personalized recommendation system based on behavioral and clinical data. Apply ML, data visualization, and behavioral modeling to create our “Behavior Change Matrix” — a core part of the Heart Harmona algorithm.

UI/UX & Product Design Intern: Design intuitive, engaging user experiences for our mobile application. Liion Power B.V.

Liion Power is a smart charging solutions company. Its first product, Leo, is a plug-and-play device that extends battery life and improves charging efficiency.

The internship focuses on data analysis and software testing for Liion Power’s smart-charging device, Leo. The student will analyze charging data, build a library of charging profiles, and use it to run automated tests across different devices and chargers.

Hempax

At Hempax, we develop sustainable packaging and paper products made from industrial hemp. Our goal is to replace wood- and plastic-based materials with a more sustainable alternative.
