Aerlijn is a Dutch defence technology company developing counter-UAS interceptor systems for allied defence and security customers.
We are building toward becoming the first private, combat-informed integrated air defence provider in the European Union. Our work is shaped by Ukrainian battlefield experience, Dutch engineering discipline, and a clear understanding of what modern warfare now demands. Aerlijn develops mission-first interceptor systems, ground-control infrastructure, and training concepts designed to counter loitering munitions, and other emerging unmanned threats. Our focus is a defence capability that can be deployed at scale.
We chose the VU StartHub because Aerlijn needs an environment close to AI research, and the Dutch innovation ecosystem. For us, StartHub is a base from which we can build capability, partnerships, and momentum in service of European security.
