About BeeGrateful
We are Floor and Zoe, proud founders of BeeGrateful. A few years ago, during our student days at Wageningen University, we became aware of the drastic decline of wild bees and other pollinators and understood the significant effect this could have on the liveability of our planet. We immediately felt the motivation to share this awareness with those around us by creating visible pollinator-friendly environments. By sharing our mission, we aim to encourage people to actively contribute to the well-being of pollinators themselves. We go for it. Together – for a world that grows and thrives.
Why we choose the VU StartHub
A year ago, we got in touch with the VU Starthub to create pollinator-friendly environments on their roof terrace! This was one of our first BeeGrateful projects, and we could immediately taste the fantastic atmosphere here. In the coming years, we are focusing on building a trustworthy brand and are convinced that you can support us well in this. We are happy to join the VU Starthub to get inspiration from other startups, expand our network and benefit from the valuable knowledge of both you and VU’s mentors.
